Use the filing calendar, mark returns filed and add notes
See every return due across your clients, record when it was filed and keep notes against it.
The filing calendar lists corporate tax and VAT returns for all your clients. Filter it to overdue items or those due in the next 30 or 60 days, move between months, and switch between Everyone and Mine to see only the clients you handle.
Marking a return filed
Update the return's status to filed from the calendar or from the client's Filings tab. Marking a return filed records that your firm filed it; it does not submit anything to the FTA. An accountant's work may wait for a manager's approval, depending on your access levels.
Notes
Each row has a note box. A note on a CT or VAT return is also saved to the client's notes, labelled with the return and its date, so the history stays in one place.
Other taxes and filings
Filings outside CT and VAT, such as a licence renewal or another authority's return, go on the client's Other filings tab with the authority, period, due date and owner. When a recurring one is marked filed, the next one rolls forward. They also appear in their own table on the calendar. Other filings are on Solo and up.
