Who we are
Accountive is operated by SCORP Nexus, a company licensed in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean SCORP Nexus, and "you" means the business that signs up and the people it invites.
By buying a plan, entering a promo code or creating a workspace you accept these terms on behalf of your business. If you do not accept them, do not use Accountive.
The services
Accountive provides online software. Accountive Comply is for accounting, audit, tax and KPO firms that manage many client companies. Accountive Lite is for a single business keeping its own books. We may add products; each is covered by these terms.
Each product works inside a workspace. The person who creates the workspace is its owner and controls who else can use it.
Your professional responsibility
Accountive helps you prepare figures, working papers, deadlines and records. It is not tax, legal or accounting advice. You, or your accountant, remain responsible for checking the results and for every filing made with the Federal Tax Authority or any other authority.
Plans, prices and VAT
Prices are in UAE dirhams and exclude 5% VAT, which is added at checkout. Comply is priced per team member; Lite is priced per company. The plan and price you bought are shown on your receipt.
We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. A change applies from your next renewal after the notice period.
Payment and renewal
Card payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your card details. Card payments are not switched on yet; until they are, plans are activated with a promo code.
Plans renew automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period until you cancel. A receipt is emailed to you for every payment. If a renewal payment fails we will try again and let you know; your data stays available while we do.
Promo codes
A promo code can give a free period or a discount, as described when you apply it. Codes are for one business each, have no cash value, cannot be exchanged or combined, and may expire or be limited in number.
When a free period ends, the workspace continues on the plan chosen at checkout once a payment method is added. Without one, your data stays readable and exportable, but adding new records stops until you pay.
We may withdraw a code that has been shared publicly without our permission or used against these terms.
Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel at any time by emailing us, and, once card payments are switched on, from the product's billing settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period already paid.
Refunds follow our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Your data
You own the data you put into Accountive. We use it only to provide and support the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. How we protect it is described on our data protection and security page.
Where you store personal data about your own clients or staff, you are the controller and we process it on your instructions under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law.
You can export your data at any time. After cancellation, a Comply workspace is kept locked for 90 days so you can come back or export it, and we may then delete it after emailing the owner. A Lite account is kept until you ask us to delete it. We keep some records longer where the law requires. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
Do not use Accountive to break the law, to process data you have no right to, to send spam, to probe or disrupt our systems, or to resell access without our written agreement. Keep your sign-in details private and turn on two-step sign-in where offered.
Security and availability
We protect your data with encryption in transit, separated workspaces, access controls and backups. We aim to keep the service available at all times, but maintenance, updates and events outside our control can interrupt it.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, or penalties that result from filings you did not check. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UAE law.
Suspension and ending
We may suspend a workspace that is unpaid, breaks these terms or puts other customers at risk, and we will tell you why. You can stop using Accountive at any time.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will email account owners about important changes at least 14 days before they apply. The version and date at the top of this page show which terms are current.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. The courts of Dubai have jurisdiction over any dispute.
