Who we are
Accountive is operated by SCORP Nexus, a company licensed in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, trade licence number [licence number], registered at [registered address]. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean SCORP Nexus.
We follow the UAE Personal Data Protection Law, Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021, and its implementing rules.
Our two roles
- For your account (your name, work email, phone, company details and billing), we decide how the data is used. We are the controller.
- For the records you put into Accountive (your clients, their filings, bank statements, invoices, staff and documents), you decide how the data is used. We only process it on your instructions, to run the service for you. You are the controller and we are your processor.
What we collect
- Account details: name, work email, mobile number, company name, role and the password you set. We store only a secure hash of your password, never the password itself.
- Billing details: plan, seats, invoices and your company's TRN. Card details go directly to our payment provider and never reach our servers.
- Your workspace records: everything you or your team enter, import or upload.
- Security records: sign-in times, IP addresses and an activity log of changes, kept so you can see who did what.
- Messages to us: support requests and any screenshot you attach.
How we use it
- To run your workspace, keep it secure and sign you in.
- To send the emails and WhatsApp messages the service needs, such as invites, password resets, deadline digests and the client reminders you set up.
- To bill you and keep the tax records UAE law requires.
- To answer support requests.
We do not sell personal data, show advertising or use your workspace records to train AI models. This website loads no tracking or advertising scripts.

Each provider only gets the data it needs for its task. We will update this list before adding a new provider that handles your workspace records.
How long we keep it
- Workspace records: while your subscription or trial is active. After you close your workspace, you have 30 days to export everything, and we delete it within 90 days after that, including from backups.
- Billing records: for as long as UAE tax law requires us to keep them.
- Security logs: 12 months.
How we protect it
Every firm's workspace is sealed off from every other one at the database level. Connections are encrypted, passwords are hashed, sensitive fields are encrypted at rest, two-step sign-in is available, and every download and change is logged. Backups are taken daily.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you, correct, export or delete your personal data, or to stop using it for a purpose you object to. If you are a client of a firm that uses Accountive, please contact that firm first, because they control your records. We reply to every request within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the UAE Data Office.
