Accountive Lite Plan: Pro and up

Invoice in another currency

Raise invoices in a foreign currency with an AED exchange rate.

On Pro and Advance, and during the free trial, an invoice can be in a currency other than your books currency.

  1. Create the invoice as normal.
  2. Choose the currency in the Currency field.
  3. Enter or check the exchange rate.
  4. Add lines and approve.

A foreign-currency tax invoice shows the VAT amount in AED and the exchange rate used, as UAE rules require. You can also give a customer a default currency so new invoices start in it.

On Startup and Basic

Invoices are always in your books currency, and the currency and exchange-rate fields do not appear. If you move from Pro down to Basic, contacts you saved in another currency keep that currency and can still be edited.

Tip: Your books currency itself is set in Business settings. It can be any currency, and VAT and Corporate Tax are always worked out in AED.
