Export your data and how it is protected
Take a full copy of your workspace at any time, and see how your clients' data is kept safe.
Exporting
Go to Settings and open Data to export everything to Excel or as a full JSON copy. The JSON copy includes clients, requests, groups, engagement letters, AML files, exchange rates and offices. Most lists also have their own export button. Dates are exported as DD/MM/YYYY, and fee columns are included only for managers and above.
Export stays available when the desk is locked, and for 90 days after cancelling.
Tip: Settings, under Data, can also restore a workspace from a JSON copy.
How data is protected
- Each firm's data is kept separate from every other firm's, and checked on every read and write.
- Documents are encrypted when stored and kept outside the public website.
- Backups are encrypted and taken every night.
- Passwords are stored as one-way hashes; sessions are secure and expire.
- The workspace owner accepts the data-protection terms, and the Data Processing Agreement is available in the app.
