Switch from another accountant or system
Bring your books across from Zoho Books, Xero, QuickBooks, Tally or a spreadsheet, and check the numbers before you commit.
Settings, Organisation, Switch to Accountive moves your existing books into Accountive Lite. It reads exports from Zoho Books, Xero, QuickBooks, Tally and spreadsheets: CSV, XLSX, Tally XML, or a ZIP file with everything in it.
- Export your data from the old system, including attachments if you have them.
- Open Switch to Accountive and upload the files.
- Choose the cut-off date and how much history to bring: balances only, last year and this year, or everything.
- Check the comparison. Before anything is saved, Accountive shows the old system next to Accountive: receivables, payables, the trial balance and every account.
- If there is a mismatch, the difference and its likely cause are shown and the switch is blocked until it is fixed.
- Confirm the switch.
Open invoices and bills keep their lines and outstanding balance and can be paid as normal. Settled history shows as paid. The period up to the cut-off is locked. Missing customers and suppliers are created from the documents, and attachment files are matched to documents by the number in the file name.
Tip: If you are still paying for your old system, you can claim free months on this page by entering the date it is paid until and uploading its invoice. One claim is allowed per company.
